A native from Kansas, I graduated from Wichita State
University in 1961 and worked in the engine, pump and
compressor business until moving to South Padre Island, TX
in 1995. I became very involved in the community as a member
of the Chamber of Commerce, serving on the “Islander
Committee” that supports local businesses and ribbon
cuttings for new businesses. I became a Texas realtor in
January of 1997. I am a graduate of Leadership Laguna Madre,
past Treasurer for the South Padre Island Board of Realtors,
Director of TIFT (Texas International Fishing Tournament),
and was on the Board of Directors for the Laguna Madre Fly
Fishing Association. I am an avid fisherman, hunter, golfer,
motorcyclist and music enthusiast. My wife Peggy & I moved
to Kerrville in February 2006 and started selling real
estate. Since then I have become a member of the Kerrville
Bible Church, volunteer my time weekly at the Dietert Senior
Center in Kerrville and am chairman of the Conservation
Committee for the Hill Country Fly Fishers organization. I
have four children and ten grandchildren. |
