Kathy takes great pride in saying that she is a fourth
generation Hill Country native. She was born and raised in
Kerrville and graduated from Tivy High School. After
attending Southwest Texas State University, Kathy had a
successful career in Broadcast Television. She worked for
North Texas Public Broadcasting (PBS) in Dallas for 18 years
then moved to Los Angeles where she was employed by the Fox
Channels Group and Adlink for 10 years. Although she spent
many years away from the Hill Country, Kathy always said,
"Home is where the heart is - and my heart is in Kerrville."
In 2008 Kathy clicked her red slippers knowing that "There's
no place like home..." and returned to the family,
friends, and community that she has always loved. With
Kathy's first-hand knowledge of the Texas Hill Country,
joining the Real Estate profession was an easy and logical
decision. "I'm eager to show clients what Kerrville has to
offer and why it's the best place to live."
Kathy enjoys
traveling, gourmet dining, the theatre, fly-fishing, playing
tennis and has competed in rodeo events including bull
riding. Her Western heritage comes from her Father who is a
championship bull rider and her Grandfather, Earl Nichols,
who was a Texas Ranger.
Kathy has worn many
hats. Her diverse background and successful career will put
